Get a comprehensive and quick overview of the results in a survey with GAIS Heatmap - a visualization that shows all factors combined with, for example, all departments in one image. All filters can be used for comparison, and it is possible to compare at the question level. It is also possible to compare with a selected benchmark in the heatmap and to create actions directly from the figures that stand out.
Where to find the heatmap
You can find the GAIS Heatmap on the left side of your GAIS report along with the other analysis tools.
Compare Filters at the Factor Level
On the horizontal axis, you see the overall job satisfaction and the seven factors measured in GAIS. You define the vertical axis yourself. Here you can choose between the filters you have defined in the survey setup. In this case, the filter Department is used.
The numbers in the matrix are the average score for, for example, Management in the Indkøb (Purchasing) / Lager (Warehouse) department (in this case, the score is 39 points on a 0-100 scale).
Color Markings
To create an overview, the individual scores receive a color marking on a scale from red to green. Here you can see which scores the different colors in the heatmap cover:
Compare Filters at the Question Level
You can also go down to the question level and combine it with your filters (here, Immediate Manager).
Compare segments
If you have defined different segments related to your organization, you can also filter by these. Select the relevant segments and compare them with each other. You can do this both at the factor level and down to the individual questions.
Create an action
If a particular score calls for a specific action to be initiated, you can do so immediately. Click on the small icon in the respective field. An “action box” will now appear, and you can describe the action to be initiated.
Then you will have the opportunity to create an action:
You can read more about creating actions in this guide: Actioncenter: How to create actions
Highlight Points of Attention
By clicking on the pin on a factor or a question, you can highlight it.
Compare with Other Surveys
You can benchmark the different scores against other surveys. Choose which survey you want to benchmark with - it can be the entire Danish population, your industry, or previous surveys you have conducted in the company.
Again, choose which filter you want to examine. The numbers in the individual fields now show how the score deviates positively or negatively from the survey you are benchmarking against (in this case, the Retail and Trade industry).
