Attached is an overview of the questions included in the survey if you carry out a factor survey specifically on “Leadership”. The 20 mandatory questions are based on the research model behind the report “Når ledelse skaber arbejdslyst” (When leadership creates job satisfaction), published by the Knowledge Centre for Job Satisfaction.
NOTE: Please note that access to the Leadership factor survey is included in our paid subscriptions.
Structure of the questionnaire
The questionnaire is based on a number of mandatory questions about four dimensions of leadership, each of which is important when it comes to employees' job satisfaction. This has been documented and validated by the Knowledge Centre for Job Satisfaction in collaboration with Kantar Gallup.
In addition, there is a catalogue of optional questions. Their content has been put together on the basis of thorough research and includes questions from well-tested surveys.
The four leadership dimensions with the mandatory questions are:
- Involvement and freedom: is about the experience of freedom and trust from your immediate manager, and about being involved in decisions and changes.
- Attention and feedback: is about the experience of your immediate manager's recognition and feedback, and whether the manager pays attention to employees' individual needs.
- Direction and meaning: is about the experience of a connection between the workplace's purpose and the employee's own contribution, and about the immediate manager's ability to set a clear direction and clear goals for the work.
- The manager as a role model: is about the experience of the immediate manager as fair and credible, and about trust in the manager's way of leading - in other words, in their professional leadership skills.
